When we think of South Afrika’s written languages, how do we read and write our languages? Could we create an understanding of what our languages could have looked like and celebrate our cultural diversity in their form and not just in their sound?
The topic is Typography Drives Culture, therefore, how do we develop a representation of what written scripts might have looked like considering, representation, architecture, ritual, beliefs etc. as guides to how a language might be formed.
This project is about discovery and innovation, we aim to uncover the loss of cultural identity in our spoken languages.
